- Look for the gluten-free certification mark: this symbol, shown on the left, provides a trademark of trust that the product at hand has been tested under 20 ppm, the FDA’s requirement for a food to be labeled gluten-free. Enjoy Life was the very first company to become certified gluten-free, with ALL products testing under 5 ppm!
- Pay close attention to where food labels indicate manufacturing processes: although an allergen may not be a direct ingredient, it may be present in the facility where the product was made.
