Ever since Enjoy Life began in 2001, we’ve been proudly gluten free. That’s 17 years! In 2005, we became the very first organization to be certified gluten free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO), which was established by the Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG) to provide the gluten free consumer with confidence in choosing products that met a high standard for gluten free products. This was before the FDA had any official guidelines for what was considered gluten-free. With an inspection at all levels of production, a certification mark easily recognizable to the consumer would be placed on the product’s packaging, indicating the product met the regulations set by the GFCO. As a brand that believes transparency is key, we are proud to uphold this standard every step of the way.
At Enjoy Life, we celebrate being gluten free and allergy friendly all year ’round, but make things extra special in May for Celiac Disease Awareness Month and Food Allergy Action Week. Join us in celebrating our amazing community and our commitment to being gluten free!
Here’s a look at what we have planned this month:
For this month’s Ask an Expert series, we teamed up with Laura Boone, the Development Manager at the Celiac Disease Foundation, to bring you the inside scoop on advocating for celiac and gluten free awareness.
