Where in the World is Enjoy Life Foods: Spring Break Edition
Hi everyone, I’m Sarah Norris from Gluten Free & Dairy Free at WDW. In my blog, I share lots of tips and information about where to find allergy-friendly products, like my favorites from Enjoy Life Foods, at the Disney Parks & Resorts. In this on-going travel series, we’ll be taking a look at Walt Disney World and beyond by checking out where you can find Enjoy Life Foods no matter where your travels take you.
Spring break season is here and that can mean only one thing – spring break vacation! I’m lucky enough to live close to Walt Disney World, one of the best allergy-friendly destinations, but when it comes to spring break season, I’m always looking for other travel options and places to explore. Thankfully, no matter where I travel, I know that I’ve got allergy-friendly brands like Enjoy Life Foods that have my back with safe allergy-friendly products that are portable and easy-to-find no matter where I am in the world.
Before you hit the road for your own spring break adventures, here are some other tips to help make your vacation safe and fun.
It’s all about the travel AND the destination
When it comes to allergy-friendly vacation, choosing where to go and planning your travel to and from your destination are both pretty important. Take some time to do some research. Make it a fun family project by mapping out where you’d like to go and decide what the best allergy-friendly options are while you’re there.
Before you leave for your spring break destination, check out area restaurants and grocery stores. Map out restaurants that accommodate your special dietary needs, and even contact them in advance if you have questions. If you’re preparing meals at your vacation destination, look for grocery stores that offer a variety of options and sell allergy-friendly brands that you trust and use at home.
When it comes to accommodations, look for hotels that offer allergy-friendly room and food options. In addition to traditional hotels and resorts, renting a vacation home is another great option – giving you the flexibility to make your own allergy-friendly meals while you’re on vacation. Need some recipe inspiration while on your trip? Here are some tasty (and EASY!) recipes to help make your vacation meals safe, fun, and totally vacation friendly.
And don’t forget to bring along safe snacks when traveling. I’m always armed with Seed & Fruit Mixes and S’Mores Decadent Bars whenever I’m on vacation. They make the perfect portable snacks whether you’re flying or traveling by car, and how can you go wrong with an allergy-friendly snack that includes S’Mores? Even more important than snacks, don’t forget to pack any essential medications that you might need; that way, you’re always covered in case of an emergency.
Disney World: The Happiest Allergy-Friendly Place on Earth
When it comes to spring break vacation, Walt Disney World is one of the most popular destinations. It’s the perfect spot for family vacations and a magical place for those looking for an allergy-friendly vacation. Walt Disney World is known for offering world-class allergy-friendly accommodations that include allergy-friendly menus at their restaurants. It also includes an allergy-friendly product line called Snacks with Character, which you can find at various merchandise locations and snack kiosks. How cool is that?
Looking for a specific allergy-friendly brand, like Enjoy Life Foods while you’re at Disney? You’re in luck. You can find a variety of allergy-friendly products throughout the Disney Parks & Resorts. So no matter where you are in the “world,” you can always get something safe, delicious, and magical.
