Meet our new logo and packaging
In 2018 Enjoy Life went teal in support of the food allergy community. Our boldly colored packages also helped shoppers quickly find allergy friendly products in the grocery aisle.
Now in 2021 we are updating our packaging again to highlight our allergy friendly promise on the front of every package. Each of our product categories now has its own fun visual theme and unique accent colors, helping you to quickly distinguish between products in your pantry. And our new packaging still proudly promotes teal.

Our new packaging will begin arriving in stores this summer and it will continue transitioning across all products through the end of 2021.

Why did Enjoy Life change their packaging graphics?
The new packaging graphics were changed with you, our food allergy customer, in mind! We wanted to ensure that allergen information was clearly stated on the package, including our free from list and facility and manufacturing practices.
Have the ingredients changed on any Enjoy Life products?
All of our products still meet our brand promise of being Gluten Free and Free From fourteen food allergens — wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, casein, soy, egg, sesame, mustard, lupin, added sulfites, fish, shellfish, and crustaceans.
Most of our product formulations have remained the same; however, we have slightly adjusted some of our products in order to improve overall taste and texture. As a result, you will see slight changes to the ingredients lists and nutritional information for the following products: Ricemilk Crunch Chocolate Bars, Soft Baked Cookies, Chewy Bars, and Sunseed Butter Protein Bites.
In Soft Baked Cookies we replaced the brown sugar ingredient with cane sugar, as we noticed that the brown sugar was not dissolving well into the dough. Some people may notice a slight difference in flavor due to the change in sugar. Additionally, we adjusted the ratios of the remaining ingredients to improve upon the taste and texture of the overall finished product. These changes affect the order of ingredients on the Ingredient List, but nothing was added or removed.
In Dark Chocolate Morsels our recipe remains the same, but you may notice a change on the ingredient list. Cocoa Butter was always present in the product as a component of the Unsweetened Chocolate ingredient. We have decided to call out the Cocoa Butter as a separate ingredient on the label moving forward.

Have the nutrition facts changed on any Enjoy Life Products?
Most of our formulations remain the same; however, we adjusted ingredient proportions in some products in order to improve overall taste and texture. As a result, you will see slight changes to the Nutritional Information for the following products: Soft Baked Double Chocolate Brownie Cookies, Soft Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Crunchy Double Chocolate Cookies.

Are all products still produced at the same facilities?
There have been no changes to any of our production practices or facility locations. Only the package graphics have been refreshed! Please feel free to contact us directly at support@enjoylifefoods.com should you have any specific questions.
I see a new “School Safe” emblem on the package. What is the definition of “School Safe”?
School safe refers to the fact that all Enjoy Life products are nut free. Each state has their own regulations, but many schools do not allow nuts in the building.
- Enjoy Life products are free from 14 food allergens including: wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, casein, soy, egg, sesame, mustard, lupin, added sulfites, fish, shellfish, crustaceans.
- Enjoy Life products are made in a dedicated nut free and gluten free facility (no risk of cross-contamination).
- The absence of 14 allergens makes Enjoy Life products “school safe” snacks that allow parents to be worry free when choosing snacks to send with their children.

Is the new packaging BPA free?
Yes! Our packaging is BPA free.
Are Enjoy Life’s new packaging materials recyclable?
We use the “How2Recyle” mark on all of our new packaging to communicate the recyclability of cartons, plastic and plastic trays. For example:
Full Sized Cookies:
- Box Cartons: Recyclable
- Plastic Wrap: Not Recyclable
- Plastic Trays: May be recyclable depending on local community recycling policies.
Chewy Bars, Mini Cookies, Breakfast Ovals, Chocolate Bars, Grab & Go items:
- Paper Box: Recyclable
- Multi-layer wrapper: Not recyclable
Baking Chocolate, Lentil Chips, Mini Chocolate Stand Up Pouch, Brownie Bites, Protein Bites:
- The bags that these products come in are not recyclable.
Do any Enjoy Life packaging materials contain aluminum or are they stored in aluminum?
Our new product packaging does not contain aluminum and is safe for those who have aluminum allergies.
Are Enjoy Life products made in a dedicated allergy free facility?
All Enjoy Life products are made in dedicated Nut Free and Certified Gluten Free facilities (as certified by the GFCO).
The majority of our products are produced in our Enjoy Life Bakery in Jeffersonville, IN., which is dedicated Nut Free and Certified Gluten Free, plus is free from the 14 allergens we promise to be free from (wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, casein, soy, egg, sesame, mustard, lupin, added sulfites, fish, shellfish, crustaceans).
Our Baking Chocolate is produced offsite in a dedicated facility that also processes dairy and soy; however, this product is produced on a dedicated dairy and soy free line. Ingredients are additionally tested to ensure strict allergen control standards are met.
Our Lentil Chips are produced offsite in a facility on shared equipment used to produce products that contain milk, wheat, soy, or sesame. A validated allergen cleaning process is performed on equipment, along with allergen testing, with each production run to ensure all product released to the market meets our brand promise.
How does Enjoy Life Foods avoid cross contact and cross contamination in their facility?

Do Enjoy Life products qualify as Vegan?
More of our products are now suitable for vegans!
Previously, our Rice Crisp ingredient was not vegan due to the honey sub-ingredient; however, we recently switched to a different Rice Crisp ingredient to one that does not contain honey. This new ingredient can be found in our new packaging. This means that our Ricemilk Crunch Chocolate Bars, Caramel Apple Chewy Bars, and Sunseed Crunch Chewy Bars are now suitable for vegans!
Our previous packaging showed the Vegan Action logo for many products. You will no longer see the Vegan Action logo; however, you will see “suitable for vegans” noted near the Ingredient List.
The only Enjoy Life product that is not suitable for vegans is our Vanilla Honey Graham Crunchy Cookies due to the honey ingredient.
Are Enjoy Life products Non-GMO?
All Enjoy Life products are verified Non-GMO by the Non-GMO Project.
Are Enjoy Life products Sesame Free?
Our products have always been Sesame Free! This is noted on all product packaging.
Are there any sulfites in any Enjoy Life products?
Our products do not contain any added sulfites. Naturally occurring sulfites may be present in some ingredients (such as dried fruit), but will always be below the detectable level of 10 ppm in the finished product.
What does “free from” mean? Shouldn’t this say “Free From 14 Allergens”?
Free From refers to a category of foods that do not contain the top nine most common food allergens, identified as wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, soy, egg, sesame, fish, and shellfish. At Enjoy Life, we also believe that Free From means that foods are Verified Non-GMO and Gluten Free. Enjoy Life was founded with the mission to deliver safe, better-for-you products free from these top nine food allergens, but not free from taste, so everyone can Enjoy Life to the fullest!
